http://www.grapplersquest.com/blogs/briancimins/yamasaki-jiu-jitsu-black-belt-klint-radwani-action-2009 I've watched Klint Radwani progress as a competitor since the early days of his training. Years back, Radwani was one of Yamasaki's top guns, always fighting for the top 3 spots in any division he was in and then suddenly, without notice, at a Grapplers Quest tournament in Vegas (where he was refereeing), he fell ill and slowly disappeared off the scene for quite some time due to some health complications. His loyal Team Yamasaki helped and supported him during his recovery and even got him to return back to the mats where he proudly earned his Black Belt and once again become a top level competitor in 2009. We were very proud of Klint's return to competition at Grapplers Quest in a major way in 2009 and for many years to come. Radwani was awarded his Black Belt by Fernando and Mario Yamasaki and Francisco Neto one week before his Professional return to Submission Grappling on December 12th, 2009 in Las Vegas at the 2009 World Series of Grappling. Below are some of his matches - Klint, you are an INSPIRATION, keep the great work up! Brian Cimins P.S. Klint is a very humble guy and will probably hate that I wrote this, but when we were in Vegas, his whole ordeal dawned on me and made me respect the man that much more for making the comeback of the year in grappling! |
