Starting July 6th we will be implimenting a new schedule.
Along with the new schedule we will be adding additional programs and classes.
The new programs include the reintroductions of our Adult Muay Thai Program and we are starting a Youth Muay Thai Program.
In addition to our Muay Thai Programs we have added an Adult Kali and Adult Yoga Program.
Womengrappling.org 's Women's Camp was a huge success.
There were 26 women from across the country in attendence.
Thanks to Valerie Worthington and Emily Kwok for putting together a great camp.
Check out Yamasaki Training Center's Facebook page for pictures.
Josh Tyler goes 7-0 in the Dominican Republic.
Josh won his fight via head & arm choke 1/2 way through the 2nd round bringing his record to 7-0 and bring his amateur career to a perfect end. The 1st round was a tough one against a very game opponent that displayed fast-heavy hitting hands and good takedown defense. The 2nd round displayed Josh's dominate ground skills as he sunk in the choke just seconds after a double leg against the fence landing in side control where Josh immediately setup the head & arm choke.
Congratulations to everyone that was promoted on June 12th, 2010.
Keith Parknow - Brown belt Dan Staats - Brown belt Matt Fuller - Purple belt Jacob Mullen - Blue belt Nick Page - Blue belt Louis Prestipino - Blue belt Tyler Wright - Yellow belt |
